During a shore leave, two sailors opt to rent an automobile, with Laurel assuming the role of driver. Subsequently, Hardy takes over driving duties but promptly crashes the vehicle into a lamppost.

Their misadventures continue as they encounter two young women struggling with a malfunctioning vending machine.

Stan and Oliver, members of a municipal band, find themselves perpetually at odds with their conductor's direction, leading to their dismissal from both the band and their lodgings. In an attempt to earn a living, they resort to street performance as musicians.

From Soup to Nuts

Stan and Ollie are hired as waiters at an upper class dinner party, with Ollie taking charge before entering the property.

The Finishing Touch

Stan and Ollie are contracted by a homeowner to expedite the construction of his residence, with the promise of a $500 incentive for timely completion.
